Denver Wedding

Josie and John’s wedding in their backyard was extra special.

Josie brought John’s three daughter’s into the ceremony and we did a family circle to symbolize that they were all joined together by this new marriage.

I was able to bring in Josie’s culture with authentic Mexico City Food provided by The Food Guy—We had made to order homemade tortillas and salsa frescas and then we added a terra verde wedding cake to die for—we had to have a cappucino layer for John.

The weather for Labor Day weekend was spectacular and we were able to Salsa under the stars—John even learned a special song for his bride and we played for the guests on CD.

The highlight of the evening was when John made his toast to the guests. His father became ill during the week and wasn’t able to attend the wedding so we called him on a cell phone and toasted him —there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

My tribute goes out to Melanie from Firefly Photography. She worked seamlessly with me and we got some amazing decor and wedding shots. She made the day fun!!!

Hats off to the Twisted Tulip for the stunning floral design and changing things for me at the last minute.

Kudos to: www.fireflyphotography.net

I was able to bring Josie’s & John’s Spanish Hacienda Dream wedding to their Denver Tudor Home—Enjoy!!
