September in Show Low

I did an amazing wedding at the Torreon Golf Club in ShowLow, Arizona.

The weather gave us just the touch of fall that was needed to make the event magical.

It all started with a Welcome Dinner for the guests on Saturday night in one of the beautiful cabins overlooking the 9th hole. It had an Asian Theme with sushi and chopsticks and we added a signature mai tai.

The cake was the highlight of the evening, designed by Cakes by Shellie. She incorporated school and landscape motifs from Tucson where the bride and groom grew up.

The couple really put some special touches on the day—–We had a custom built chuppah that looked like part of the enchanted forest. The bride rode in with her mother in a horse drawn carriage. Mariachis played the recessional and led all of the guests to the cocktail hour. We invited Discover the Stars to bring a huge telescope so everyone could learn about the planets in the sky.

Everyone danced the night away with CE Entertainment spinning the tunes from the 80′s. It truly was a weekend to remember.

Hats of to David B. Watt and his wonderful wife for the amazing photos—-I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
